Last Post

Hey guys and welcome to my very last post on this blog. The school year is finally coming to an end which sadly means this blog must end with it. This blog was actually a  semester long project in my academic grade 10 English class. I have had such an amazing time writing each one of these post for all of my fantastic readers. Thank you so much for being such great readers and staying loyal followers to this blog. Your support was very much appreciated. It was a great experience to learn how to make a blog and I will for sure be remembering it and using what I have learn in future school and life projects. I hope you all have enjoyed my posts and taken tips and lessons from each and every one. I didn't know how I would think up of new topics to approach and talk about in detail each time I wrote but all of your suggestions and great questions are really what made this blog successful and worth reading.

Just to recap, the topics of my posts have been:
  1. Dealing with school
  2. Fighting acne
  3. How to deal with bullying
  4. Staying in shape
  5. Musical playlist
  6. Great summer activities
I had a blast writing each and every one of these posts and hoped you had a blast reading them.

Sadly, all good things must come to an end. Now, just because this blog is done doesn't mean i won't continue to give advice or help you out if you're in a rough situation. If you ever need somebody to talk to, my email allib.blogs@gmail.com will always be active.

Once again i must thank you for making this blog a success and I wish you a great future filled with happiness. Remember, you are only a teen once so try to enjoy it and focus on the positive.

Great Summer Activities

Hey guys and welcome to my seventh blog post! There's two days of school and I couldn't be any more excited! This post will list super fun activities to do in the summer either alone, with friends, with family or with complete strangers! Let's get started!

Go to the Beach
Going to the beach is probably the most stereotypical summer activity you could do but that doesn't make it any less fun. You can go with friends or family and hang out near the water all day. There’s so many things you can do while you’re there such as swimming, tanning, playing some beach volleyball, having a barbecue lunch and more. Personally, going to the beach is one of my favourite summer activities because I love swimming and being outside all day (plus I really do like tanning).

Have a Bonfire
Bonfires were slowly getting less and less attention but they have really made a comeback these last few years. It’s a great activity to do with some friends. Sitting around a fire, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows and just chatting away is a pretty great way to spend a summer night. Just make sure you have some bug repellent for those nights where there are a lot of mosquitos.

Throw a Party
The best time to throw a party is during the summer. There's so many themes you could choose from like a pool party or a Hawaiian themed party. My birthday is in July so throwing a birthday party during the summer is always a cool activity to do. Plan a date and have a get together with some friends. Make sure you have good music playing, tasty snacks out for the guest and cool activities planned and the party will be a hit.

Go on Vacation
Summer is your time off: don’t sit around in your house doing nothing all day! Summertime is the best time to go on vacation with your family to places like Europe and Florida. Due to our hectic schedules throughout the school year, my family doesn't tend to get a lot of vacation opportunities between the months of September to June so when summer comes along we take full advantage. Going on camping trips and to a family cottage are great get aways during the summer. My personal favourite summer vacation remains a trip to Disney World in Orlando Florida.

Go to an Amusement Park or Carnival
Carnivals and amusement parks are huge during the summer months. Pick a day and go hang out all day with some friends at either a local festival or a world known amusement park. I personally don’t enjoy roller coasters too much but these types of events always have alternative options like a waterpark, games, live bands and more so everybody can really enjoy themselves.

There you have it: a list of super fun and enjoyable summer activities. You have to remember the main goal during the summer is to try and stay out of the house as much as possible. If you only get 2 months of summer freedom don’t waste them inside watching movies and laying on the couch all day. That being said, I hope you all have a great and safe summer.

Musical Playlist

Hey and welcome to my sixth blog post! I have just recently received a request of making some musical playlist for different events such as parties or workout sessions. I personally love this request due to the fact that music plays a very important role in my everyday life and I listen to it as much as I possibly can. Basically, this blog post will be filled up with a variety of playlist that I've used or that people I know have used fitting with different types of scenarios. Just a quick warning before we get started, some of these songs may not necessarily be appropriate for everyone due to it's language or its context. I apologize if some songs may not be to your liking, but I have based my playlist off of popular songs teens listen too in order to give the most accurate playlists. With that said, let's get started!

First things first, let's make a workout playlist! I find that some of the best motivation during a workout is up beat music. When a song has a fast beat, we tend to try and match our steps to the beat or get into a timed rhythm with our exercises forcing us to push ourselves harder and workout for longer. The following short list will provide you with great fast passed songs.
  1. Can't Hold Us ~ Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (I know many don't like this artist but this song is my personal favourite to listen to when running. The tempo set by the drums is perfect to match your steps too.)
  2. The Night Is Still Young ~ Nicki Minaj
  3. My House ~ Flo Rida
  4. Going Down For Real (GDFR) ~ Flo Rida
  5. Black Widow ~ Iggy Azalea
  6. Hey Mama ~ David Guetta
  7. Confident ~ Demi Lovato
  8. Me & My Girls ~ Selena Gomez (This starts off a little slow but once it picks up, it's a great song for workouts)
  9. Something Big ~ Shawn Mendes
  10. Hey Everybody ~ 5SOS
  11. Fancy ~ Iggy Azalea
  12. Timber ~ Ke$ha and Pitbull
  13. A Little Party Never Killed Nobody ~ Fergie, Q-Tip and Goonrook
  14. Work ~ Rihanna
  15. Run The World (Girls) ~ Beyonce
  16. The Monster ~ Eminem and Rihanna
  17. Stronger ~ Kelly Clarkson
  18. All I Do Is Win ~ DJ Khaled
  19. Turn Down For What ~ Lil John
  20. Jumpman - Drake
  21. Hotlinebling - Drake

Next, I'll be putting together a playlist that's perfect for 2016 summer pool parties. These songs are full of energy that will keep everybody in a nice, happy mood while enjoying swimming and tanning by the pool with their friends.
  1. Ain't It Fun ~ Paramore
  2. Everybody Talks ~ Neon Trees
  3. Riptide ~ Vance Joy
  4. Shut Up And Dance ~ Walk The Moon
  5. One Dance ~ Drake
  6. Really Don't Care ~ Demi Lovato
  7. Stitches ~ Shawn Mendes
  8. Cake by the Ocean Floor ~ DNCE
  9. Sit Still, Look Pretty ~ Daya
  10. All My Friends ~ Snakeship
  11. Locked Away ~ Rock City
  12. Trap Queen ~ Fetty Wap
  13. Never Forget You - Zara Larsson and MNEK
  14. House Party - Sam Hunt
  15. Work From Home - Fifth Harmony
  16. Don Let Me Down - The Chainsmokers
  17. Sorry - Justin Bieber
  18. What Do You Mean - Justin Bieber
  19. Same Old Love - Selena Gomez
  20. Me, Myself and I ~ G-Easy
  21. Ride ~ Twenty One Pilots

Alright so the third and final playlist of this post will be filled with relaxing songs. These songs are great to listen to when you’re studying, reading a book or (my personal favourite) when you’re trying to take a nap.
  1. Let It Go - James Bay
  2. Waves - Mr.Probz
  3. Lay It All On Me - Ed Sheeran
  4. 7 Years - Lukas Graham
  5. Superficial Love - Ruth B.
  6. Rise Up - Andra Day
  7. Fight Song - Rachel Platten
  8. Human - Christina Perri
  9. Lost Boy - Ruth B.
  10. Say Something - A Great Big World
  11. Skyfall - Adele (Really anything by Adele is amazing and I recommend listening to her music)
  12. When I Was Your Man - Bruno Mars
  13. Stay - Rihanna
  14. Flashlight - Jessie J.
  15. Lay Me Down - Sam Smith
  16. Photograph - Ed Sheeran
